Meggan Diedericks is an aspiring entrepreneur and has worked in South Africa's media industry since 2012. She fulfilled the roles of events co-ordinator at one of Cape Town's top radio stations, Heart 104.9FM and was a transmission controller at one of South Africa's free-to-air television broadcasters, e.TV.
She has acquired a BTech degree in Public Relations Management (Cum Laude) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, as well as a certificate in the fundamentals of digital photography at the College of Digital Photography in Cape Town. Amongst others, Meggan has also completed a workshop in SEO and internet marketing to sharpen her online skills.
Meggan has successfully managed, implemented and contributed to the conceptualisation of some of Cape Town's biggest events and campaigns with radio station, Heart 104.9FM such as the Mommy and Me Walk, Spring Dip, Launch of new DJ line-up, Children's home makeovers, Toy Story Campaign, Heart Birthday Bash etc. Other major events she has worked and clients she has worked with are MTN, Cape Town Carnival, Spar Ladies Race, MyCiti, GrandWest (80s Rewind concert, Micheal Buble, Jonathan Butler), CTICC, City of Cape Town, Metropolitan, Wonga.com, Canal Walk and DHL Stormers Currie Cup Castle Lawn activations to name a few. Meggan has also successfully managed to ensure the smooth running of daily e.TV transmission broadcasts to millions of viewers all over Africa. One of Meggan's other greatest passions is that she is a bassist for South African artist Nonku Phiri and has played at many events such as the Design Indaba held in Cape Town annually, Durban July and Castle Milk Stout Unplugged sessions in Joburg and Cape Town amongst others. As a hobby, she has also provided her MC skills to people who require them for certain events e.g. Cape Town band, SouthPaw
Meggan is currently seeking her next employment adventure in the PR/media/events industry and is aspiring to become an entrepreneur by exploring various business ventures and by providing her PR and events skills to various businesses in need thereof. She currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa.
